Book Signing at The Book Tavern: A Extraordinary Summer Kickoff!

Last Saturday was truly unforgettable!

I had the joy and honor of hosting a book signing at The Book Tavern in downtown Augusta, and I’m still buzzing with excitement. It was one of those rare moments where nervous butterflies danced alongside pure joy—I was thrilled to meet so many of you, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous too! Thankfully, your smiles, kind words, and enthusiastic support made it all worthwhile.

For those who couldn’t make it in person, I vlogged and livestreamed the event so you could still join in on the fun. One of the best parts of the day was connecting with the local community—especially our young readers. With school out and Summer vacation officially beginning, I chose this weekend specifically to celebrate Summer reading and help inspire young minds to explore new literary adventures.

As a former teacher of mine once said, “Reading takes you on adventures,” and I couldn’t agree more. That’s exactly what Chrysanthemum Palace: The Princess Eleanor Chronicles aims to do—whisk readers away into a world of bravery, secrets, and self-discovery.

I was also thrilled to debut some exclusive Princess Eleanor Chronicles merchandise at the event! The Rosemary Windsor Academy Tassel Standard Bookmark and the Chibi Eleanor Holographic Sticker were definite crowd favorites. I loved seeing your reactions!

It’s always exciting to see representation in genres where we don’t often get the spotlight. Lore of the Wilds by Analeigh Sbrana

Like many people, I got swept up in Bridgerton during the pandemic, and that obsession led me to The Davenports. If you loved the elegance and romance of Daphne’s story, you’re going to adore Olivia Davenport’s journey!
